When a tree should come out
A tree may need to go if it is dead, leaning more than it used to, cracked at the trunk, dropping large limbs or pushing up a slab or wall. Sometimes it is just too big for the yard. If you are not sure, send a photo and ask.
How removal works
In an open yard a tree may come down in one piece. Next to a house, wall or power line it usually comes down in sections. If a large tree has no safe place to drop, a crane may be needed, and the estimate lets you include that.
What affects the price
Height, how many trees, access to the yard, and the add-ons you choose: stump grinding, haul-away and crane work. Use the estimate on this page to see a range.
Before you remove a tree in Arizona
Arizona protects some native plants, and many HOAs have their own rules. If you have a saguaro or another native tree, or you live in an HOA, check first. If the tree touches a power line, call your utility before anyone works on it.
